Beth believes in the power of vulnerability. Her mission is to be a calming presence who creates a safe, non-judgmental space for healing and growth. From engaging in play therapy with children to helping adults process their emotions, Beth uses a practical, here-and-now approach that connects past experiences to present feelings and behaviors.
Her approach is trauma-informed, and Beth is committed to celebrating diversity in all forms - including cultural, ethnic, spiritual, and gender identities. She empowers clients to engage with their experiences, while providing validation and encouragement when seeking a solution. Beth Burdick completed her clinical practicum and internship requirements under the supervision of Dr. Cathy Sparks at Middle Tyger Community Center in Lyman, from May 2023 through May 2024. And she currently holds the following credentials:
o Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling - Messiah University, May 2024
o National Certified Counselor (NCC) – National Board of Certified Counselors, May 2024
o Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) – SC Licensure Board, June 2024
