Theoretical Orientation: 


Working from a foundation of person-centered theory - which prioritizes empathy, genuineness and authenticity, as well as unconditional positive regard – Beth also utilizes evidence-based interventions from theories such as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Gestalt theory, Emotion Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), and Cognitive-Behavioral Theory (CBT). As well as both child-centered and cognitive-behavioral play therapy for sessions with children 12yrs and under.


Additionally, Beth has completed all training requirements for a Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy (SIP) certificate through ACPE - Association for Clinical Pastoral Education. Official certification will be conferred upon full state licensure. SIP training equips licensed counselors to work with a broad range of cultural, spiritual, and religious backgrounds. Thereby providing a safe, affirming, and inclusive space for clients who choose to explore, discover, and find meaning in this core piece of human experience within a therapeutic setting.
